White House getting a little Orwellian?

The White House has recently asked citizens to
flag others who are spreading “fishy” claims about President Obama’s health care plans. Essentially You turn in fellow citizens and organizations if it is "fishy".

What purpose is there in telling on others? They know what opposition information is out there. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas feels it's an encroachment on privacy to chill free speech.

I believe it is exactly that.

Polls show greater and greater dissent of the people to the idea of this Health care reform. It's viewed as too costly. "Americans [believe], by a two-to-one margin, believe that no matter how bad things are, Congress can always make it worse.".

It's time to call a RED FLAG on this citizen spy program!
E-mail flag@whitehouse.gov. Tell them to shut it down.

You can use what I wrote if you want to!

Dear Obama staff,
I find you request to turn in fellow citizens and organizations the only "fishy" thing here. I'm calling the RED FLAG on you and your policies. You know the opposing messages to your agenda. There's no need for a citizen spy club. Shut this site down and tell Obama to get the Government out of private lives and private business!

A True citizen of the REPUBLIC,

In addition: I'm visual guy. you may have seen this poster in the news as of late. It was labeled "Dangerous and Mean-spirited".

This same type of image of George W. Bush published by Vanity Fair in July of 2008 was hailed as "brilliant and profound".

So how about we call it like it is. It's a STRONG political statement.

I used it in my own letter to flag@whitehouse.gov If you feel it sends the tone you want them to hear do it.

Staying always opposed to meddling Government.

The Republic Revolutionary.
